While sharing the core “row drafting and activation” engine of the system, this entry swaps dice rolling for a unique, physical dexterity mechanic:

• The Token Toss Combat: When aliens ambush your row, you don’t roll dice. Instead, you physically toss a token into the air, aiming to land it completely inside or touching the specific crosshair boxes printed inside the game box lid.
• Track Weapon Magazines: Fire weapons like your pulse rifle by expending physical shot tokens. Once empty, you must spend a turn and 1 unit of time to discard an ammo token and fully reload your weapon clip.
• Rescue Imperiled Crew: Pull surviving crew members into your inventory to unlock powerful passive bonuses. However, if a crew card is ever discarded from the row due to an alien attack or hiding, they are permanently removed and used as alien hosts.
• Suffer Persistent Wounds: When taking damage, you draw from a dedicated Damage deck. These cards saddle your character with ongoing negative status effects, like becoming “Wounded” or “Angry,” which drastically changes how your tokens behave.
• Navigate the Shadows: Use key tokens or specific equipment to bypass alien sensors entirely, slowly filtering your way to the bottom of the Location deck to reveal the Landing Pad and confront the Alien Queen.
