As a dungeon lord, your objective is to recruit the most powerful monsters from the tavern while cleverly avoiding pesky human adventurers to end the game with the highest score.

• Bid resources (gold or gems) to pass on the current creature card and avoid taking a weak human or low-value monster.
• Take the current creature card into your dungeon, along with all the accumulated coins and gems on it, when you choose not to or cannot bid.
• Manage your dual-currency pool of gold and gems, which must be spent strategically depending on the types of creatures currently up for grabs.
