🎯 The Goal

Hurtle through treacherous, muddy rally stages as a world-class driver, perfectly shifting gears and drifting around tight corners to clock the absolute fastest overall time across multiple competitive time-trial rounds.

⚙️ Core Actions

The game features an adrenaline-fueled, spatial push-your-luck movement system powered by a custom dice-pool mechanic:

  • Plan Your Racing Line: Lay out custom physical dice along the track grid spaces ahead of your car to map out your exact path for the turn. You possess Gear dice (for accelerating and maintaining speed), Coast dice (to cruise at your current gear), and Brake dice (to aggressively drop multiple gears simultaneously).
  • Roll Safely or Flat Out: Choose how to resolve your planned path. You can roll the dice one by one, stopping whenever you want to play it safe—or you can roll them all simultaneously (“Flat Out”) to earn valuable Second Tokens that shave precious time off your final scoreboard.
  • Manage Danger Icons: Every die features a specific number of warning hazard symbols. If you ever accumulate three total warning symbols during a single turn, your car instantly triggers a catastrophic “Loss of Control” crash, spinning out, damaging your engine, and completely ruining your time card for the round.
  • Navigate Terrain Constraints: Adapt to shifting track conditions like mud, gravel, and asphalt. Tight corners impose strict upper limits on your maximum gear speed, while slippery mud patches force you to spend extra gear dice or drift sideways to avoid flying off the track.
  • Claim Time Cards: At the end of your movement, look at the exact value of the final Gear die you finished your turn on. You must draw a Time Card matching that gear number; the lower the total time value accumulated across your cards at the end of the stage, the higher you place on the podium.

🧠 Why you’ll like it

It is a brilliant, mechanical marvel that perfectly simulates the high-octane physics of rally racing using zero rubber-banding or artificial catch-up mechanics. The tactical puzzle of choosing whether to slowly coast through a dangerous hairpin turn or risk it all by going “Flat Out” to shave a few seconds off your time creates immense, fist-pumping table drama. With endless track configurations via modular tiles and a pure, math-driven time trial engine, it is a masterfully designed strategic racer that rewards precision, guts, and spatial planning.
